Doris A. Parent

Doris A. Parent, 68, of 37 Susan Lane in Northfield died peacefully at home on July 6, 2002 with her daughter by her side. Mrs. Parent was born on July 8, 1933 in Lawrence, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Lucien and Adeline ( Laverdiere) Legendre. Prior to retirement she was a certified nurses aide for the Merrimack County Nursing Home. Family members include; two sons, Roland A. Parent Jr. of Maryland and Gerard R. Parent of Franklin, NH; four daughters, Diane Leary of Northfield, NH, Joan Brooks of Goffstown, NH, Karen Layne of Litchfield, NH and Kathy Canfield of Escondido, CA; sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Parent was predeceased by her husband, Roland A. Parent Sr. who died in 1983.
