Doris R. Valade
Doris R. Valade (Pinette), age 88, of Goffstown, NH, beloved wife of Edmond Valade, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 30, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
Doris was the daughter of John and Bernadette Pinette. She attended St. Marie High School in Manchester, NH. Doris is predeceased by a son, Vincent, a daughter, Celeste, a brother, Gerald Gauvin, and sisters Estelle Pinette, Alice Cote and Rita Veilleux.
Doris is survived by daughter Judith (Valade) Ayers, son, John Valade, grandchildren: Jennifer Zabel, Kimberley McGrath, Katherine Magoon, Brian, Scott and Abigail Ayers, great granddaughters: Victoria and Gabrielle Zabel, sisters: Pauline Pinette, Sister Lorraine Pinette and Georgette Barry.
Doris was a devoted and loving wife of 63 years and a mother who brought much comfort and happiness to her family and friends. She was a wonderful homemaker and seamstress. She loved reading books and collecting Hummels. Her delicious homemade caramels were a favorite for the family. She will be missed dearly and we, who loved her, will always cherish her memory.
A Memorial Remembrance Service will be held at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
