Doris L. Whittaker, 77, died on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at her home in Auburn. She was born on May 20, 1938 in Goffstown, daughter of the late George and Laura Gonthier.
She was the wife of Richard M. Whittaker, Sr.. They were married for 43 wonderful years.
Doris had resided in Auburn since 1971. She was currently living with her son and best friend, Richard M. Whittaker, Jr. She had worked at McGraw-Edison Co until she became a stay at home mother.
Along with her son, Richard, Jr., she is survived by another son, Thomas L. Whittaker of Haverhill, MA; four grandchildren, Bethanne Whittaker, Trevor Whittaker, Shannon Bowden, Aaron O'Quinn; three great grandchildren, Kaylyn Rae Bowden, Kalleigh Grace Bowden, and Aria O'Quinn; and two sisters, Lorraine Carusone of Schenectady, NY and Lucille Howard, formerly of Allegheny, CA.
SERVICES: There will be no formal services at this time.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donation be made is Doris's name to the American Cancer Society.
