Dorothy Isabelle Kimball Boyd

Dorothy Isabelle Kimball Boyd, 85, of 23 Gould Street in Meredith died on September 11, 2001 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia after of lengthy illness. Ms. Boyd was born on December 14, 1915 in Everett, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late George and Lena (Wilkinson) Kimball. Before retirement she had worked as a clerk for the United States Post Office in Truro, Massachusetts. After retirement she moved to Holderness and finally to Meredith in 1986. She enjoyed watching wild birds and loved to garden. Family members include; one son, Walter T. Boyd of Portsmouth; one daughter, Jackie Boyd of Truro, MA; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Grace Hawke and by one brother, George K. Boyd.
