Dorothy C. Brown

Dorothy C. Brown, 75, of Lunenburg, VT died April 3, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her family, books and poems that she had written. Mrs. Brown was born on July 3, 1928 in Rochester, VT the daughter of the late John E. and Elizabeth (Manchester) Miller. She was a loving homemaker and was a bookkeeper for many years for her husband’s business. Mrs. Brown was a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed bird watching. She loved to write religious poems and was involved in mail ministry. Family members include; her husband of 50 years, Sherwood V. Brown Sr.; two sons; three daughters; several grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 18th at 2:00 PM at the Gilman Methodist Church in Vermont.
