Dorothy Lorraine Groulx,88, passed away on September 6, 2021 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH. Dorothy was born on April 22, 1933 in Manchester, NH to the late Eugene Philibotte and Mary Louise (Norris) Philibotte. Dorothy grew up in southern New Hampshire and attended school in both Goffstown and Manchester. After high school, Dorothy met the love of her life Alfred J. Groulx. The two married at Saint Augustin Church in Manchester, NH and spent 56 loving years before he passed away. Many will fondly remember Dorothy from Winwood Sportswear in Manchester where she worked for many years until she retired to spend more time with her grandchildren. Dorothy was a devout catholic and was a parishioner of Saint George church in Manchester for many years before moving to Epsom, NH. When she wasn’t working or at church, Dorothy loved bingo, spending time with her family, and taking daily walks with her dog. Most recently she enjoyed going camping in Maine, staying at Old Orchard Beach and the yearly fair where she loved watching the dock dogs.

In addition to her husband Alfred, Dorothy was predeceased by her two sons David and Alfred Groulx and a grandson David A Chouinard. She was also predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.

Dorothy is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter Debra Chouinard and her husband David of Epsom, NH, her daughter Nancy Innie and husband Paul of Belmont, NH, her daughter Lisa Groulx of Belmont, NH, her daughter Brenda Groulx of Belmont, NH, her son John Groulx and his wife Amy Wagner of Sharon, MA. Dorothy is also survived by her eleven grandchildren Jennifer, Zachary, Amy, Nick, Eric, Cameron, Taunya, Christopher, Ashley, Elizabeth and Lila. She also leaves behind ten great-grandchildren Kali, Seth, Paityn, Jackson, Mason and Cooper, Anthony, Mercedes, Julia, Kaiden. Dorothy also leaves behind a great great grandson Lukas. She loved them all so much.

A funeral service will be held at Saint Marie's church in Manchester, NH on Thursday Sept, 16, 2021 at 9:30 am with Father Moe. Then to her final resting place at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester, NH. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire has been entrusted with arrangements.
