Dorothy Wenninger

Dottie Wenninger, 86, of Milford NH died Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Merrimack Community Hospice House after a period of declining health. Dottie was the daughter of Francis and Anna (Gaschnig) Wenninger and was born in Holyoke, MA on July 21, 1927. She is survived by her brother Louis of Chicopee MA, and her daughter Annie Mullen and her son-in-law Dan Mullen of Amherst NH, her nephews, & nieces; Raymond Wenninger of Chicopee MA, Michael Wenninger of Holyoke MA, Linda Kyle of Longmeadow MA, Susan Harris of San Antonio TX, Carol McNeil of San Antonio TX and Steven Wenninger of Ludlow, MA, and her great nephews and nieces, all of whom she adored and enjoyed visiting with. She is predeceased by her parents and her brothers Joseph and Francis Wenninger.

Dottie lived most of her life in Chicopee MA, before moving to South Florida where she spent an enjoyable 20 years until returning to New England in 2007 to be with her family. Dottie loved animals, especially owls, cats, and dogs. She enjoyed socializing with friends, especially her "GNO buddy's," cooking, playing dominos, puzzle-making and playing solitaire on her laptop late into the night. She was a woman of indomitable spirit and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
