Douglas W. Gould, 62, of Potter Place, NH, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on February 9, 2005, following a lengthy illness. Throughout that time, he retained his sense of humor and love of life. Born December 29, 1942 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Philander Gould and Doris Brown Nichols. Loving Husband and Father, survived by: wife of 25 years, Ronan Bowen Gould; 3 daughters, Gina Wagner of New Hampton, NH, Melissa Byrd of Bristol, NH, and Lynne Ohrenberger of Buzzards Bay, MA; 2 grandchildren, Kayla Wagner and Max Byrd; 2 brothers, Donald Gould of Tupelo, OK, and James Gould of Lakeside, AZ; 2 sisters, Bonney Kurtak of Pinetop, AZ and Beverly Gould of Milford, CT; and nieces and nephews. Doug was a self employed Master Electrician and owner of Gould Electric. Graduate of Bristol High School class of 1961 and attended UNH. Doug's interests and hobbies included: his Harley, Nascar Racing, Restoring Automobiles, Landscaping, Traveling, Antiques and entertaining family and friends. Private Family services were held and a Celebration of Life Service will take place early this Spring with family and friends. In lieu of flowers the Gould family would like donations made to the Lake Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association.
