Douglas R. Moses, 78, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, in Claremont, NH.

Douglas proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years. His commitment to service continued throughout his life. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and served as Chaplain for the Clan Hay Society, where he shared his dedication, compassion, and fellowship with others.

In his free time, Douglas enjoyed playing golf and spending hours working on his beloved train sets. These hobbies reflected his patience, curiosity, and appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.

Douglas was a devoted husband and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Denise, and his children; Dawn Garcia, Deborah Cabe, Victoria Hampton, and James Moses. He was a grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Russell Moses and Carol Locke, along with his extended family and many friends who will remember him fondly.

Douglas, we preceded in death by his parents; Maynard and Berniece; his granddaughter Samantha; and his great-grandsons, Cohen and Nathaniel.

Douglas will be remembered for the love he gave to his family and the many lives he touched through is years of service, faith, friendship, and devotion. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
