Dwayne Paul DeMoura, 54, died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was born on May 8, 1968, in Taunton, MA, the son of Paul and Donna DeMoura.
He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Blanchette) DeMoura. They were married on July 7, 2018, in Nashua, NH.
Dwayne attended Dighton Schools. He was very athletic and played football and track at Dighton Rehoboth High School. He was amazingly fast and was known at the fastest kid on the team. He graduated from technical school and enjoyed learning many jobs. He was a drywall installer, he did roadside assistance, and worked for Goodwill. He received his Auto Damage Appraiser’s license and spent over 25 years in the field. He worked for Global Heavy Equipment until his passing. He excelled at his job and will be greatly missed. Dwyane was always trying to better himself. While working he got his real estate license and kept it current. Dwayne was a determined man and worked hard for everything he had.
Dwayne enjoyed spending time with his children. He also liked playing frisbee, golf and basketball and enjoyed many family game nights; trivia and dominoes were his favorites games to play. He was very competitive and could make a game out of anything. He played in an over 30 baseball league and loved cycling while living in Florida. He rebuilt a Dune Buggy, which he was very proud of. He had a passion for fantasy and dynasty football which he played every chance he had.
Dwayne really loved being home and spending time with his wife, Sandy. They enjoyed dinners and games together every night. He adored his Lovebird Buddy and his many fish.
He was predeceased by his father, Paul DeMoura who passed away on December 23, 2014.
In addition to his wife, Sandra, Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Darby DeMoura Stivali and her husband, Peter Stivali; daughter, Brynn DeMoura; son, Joshua DeMoura; stepson, Jake Carmichael and his wife, Dalice; stepson, Jordan Power and his partner, Amber Eskridge; step grandchildren, Dylan and Theo Carmichael; mother, Donna DeMoura; brothers, Paul, Christopher and Derek DeMoura and his wife, Danielle DeMoura; niece, Sammi Brown and her husband, Robert; great niece, Halo; nephews, Jake and Drew DeMoura; and Buddy, his Lovebird.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Dwayne’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 2:00PM at the Blanchette’s Home, 81 Burns Road, Pelham, NH 03076. It will be an outdoor event, BYOB and comfy chair. In honor of Dwayne, his life will be celebrated with a cookout and many games to play. Dwayne will be there with everyone in Spirit and he would have wanted his family and friends to be happy on this day as he is remembered by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to attend.
