Edith Marie French, wife of the late Forrest E. French, died December 25, 2004 after a long illness at the Keene Center Genesis. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Kaiser of Ithaca, NY; a son, Gary French, of Ithaca, NY; also adopted by the heart, another daughter, Patricia Bourassa and her husband, Gene and their two children, Angela and Paul; grandchildren in the Ithaca area are Nathan Powell and Katy Santana; granddaughters, Abigail Wheetley of Illinois and Jenny French of Seattle; six great grandchildren Peter and Ian Santana, Dexter and Emily Wheetley, Elizabeth and Rogue on the West Coast. She also leaves a brother, Carl Decker and sister, June La Freniere both of Keene; two nieces, Carol Brodeur and Ramona Flagg also of Keene; nephew, James Decker, chaplain in the Air Force; and great nieces Michelle Brodeur and Constance Flagg of Keene ;and great nephews, Steven Brodeur and Christopher Flagg of Keene. There will be no calling hours or funeral. A memorial service will be held in May at the First Baptist Church on Maple Avenue in Keene. In her memory donations may be made to Keene Center Genesis, 677 Court Street in Keene.
