Edmond J. Letendre, 68, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on October 20, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.
Ed was a free-spirited man who loved life, his family and his close friends with an enormous heart. He loved music and movies, was an avid Boston sports fan (in particular the Red Sox) and enjoyed being with friends and family when he could. He loved working with his hands and in his younger days he loved travelling and following his favorite band, The Grateful Dead. He gained the most pleasure in spending time with and watching his beautiful granddaughter Rosalie grow up these last 9 years.
Ed was extremely loving and proud of his three children, his daughter Joy Peterson of Merrimack, NH and her husband David; his son Edmond Letendre of Lawrence, MA and his daughter Rosalie; and his son Frankie Letendre-Bruce and his husband Chuck of Exeter, NH. He is also survived by two nephews, Bruce Bannon of Maine and Erin Bannon of Florida and a number of close friends he considered family.
"There is a road, no simple highway, between the dawn and the dark of night, and if you go, no one may follow, that path is for your steps alone." J. Garcia.
At Ed's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging donations to The Jimmy Fund. http://www.jimmyfund.org/ways-to-give/giving/. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements. To view an online memorial or leave a message of condolence please go to www.csnh.com
