EDMUND P. (BUDDY) HOURIGAN
Edmund P (Buddy) Hourigan, 73 of Lincoln, NH and formerly of Dorchester, MA, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Lafayette Center in Franconia.
He was born in Boston on May 6, 1938, the son of the late Edmund M and Elizabeth (Connolly) Hourigan.
Edmund served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959 and had tours of duty on the USS Valley Forge and in Italy. He was an avid outdoorsman, greatly enjoying hiking, cross country skiing and hunting.
He is survived by his partner, Diane Shaw of Lincoln; a brother, Stephen of Eastham, MA; his sister, Mary Walker of Wayland, MA and many loving nephews and nieces. Edmund's family and friends will always remember his sense of humor, his kindness and his generosity.
SERVICES -- Funeral services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401 or a charity of your choice.
