Edna B. Blackman

Edna B. Blackman, 74, of 68 Croteau Court in Manchester died on January 27, 2002 at Elliot Hospital. Ms. Blackman was born on September 6, 1927 in Norwalk, Connecticut the daughter of the late Leroy and Millicent (Quick) Fanning. She had been a resident of Manchester for the past ten years. She was employed by Caldor for over 25 years in Connecticut. She was a member of the New Hampshire Native American Intertribal Council. Family members include; one son, John Blackman of Norwalk, CT; five daughters, Dawn Schlosser of Bennington, VT, Camille Watson of Bethel, CT, Lydia Turbert of Niantic, CT, Linda Manoni of New Milford, CT and Marcia Blackman of Concord; nine grandchildren; several great grand children; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service is scheduled for the spring in Connecticut. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
