Edward F. Duggan, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died September 5, 2007 in Elliot, Me., after a period of declining health. Mr. Duggan was born April 20, 1927 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the son of Martin and Nora Duggan. He moved to Hyde Park, Boston, Massachusetts at an early age and graduated from Hyde Park High School. He served in the U.S Army for two years during World War II. After returning to New England following the war he worked for Western Electric for 25 years. He moved to Portsmouth, N.H. in 1966 where he lived until moving to Milton, N.H. in 1977. Mr. Duggan worked at Simplex in Newington, N.H. for many years as well as the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard before retiring to Milton, N.H. in the early 90s. Mr. Duggan is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy, and his five children Edward Jr., Debra Duggan, Sue Goodwin, Ann Sorrenty, and Frank Duggan; many grandchildren & great grandchildren whom adored him.
