Edward L. Galvin, 56, of 294 Blevens Drive in Manchester died on February 23, 2002 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Galvin was born on February 14, 1946 in Melrose, MA the son of the late Henry and Mary (Lennon) Galvin. He grew up in Wakefield, MA and after graduating from high school in 1963 he served as a Sergeant in the US Marines during Vietnam. He was a teamster for local 25 and 633 for 30 years. Edward enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling and spending time with his three grandsons. He leaves his wife, Judy (Palmer) Galvin; one son, Joseph Galvin of Providence, Rhode Island; one daughter, Nicole Galvin of Bradford, MA; a stepson, Richard Mann of Tilton, NH; a brother, Robert Galvin of Cape Cod, MA; a sister Mary Kay Galvin of Wakefield, MA; three grandsons, Tyler Mann, Kyle Mann and Connor Scott; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 15th at 11:00 AM at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
