Edward R. Gray, 75, of Derry died December 27, 2003 at the VA Hospital in Manchester following a lengthy illness. Mr. Gray was born on June 1, 1928 in Lynn, MA the son of the late Pearl and Alice (Bent) Gray. He was a U S Army and Air Force Veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Atlantic Richfield for many years. After retirement he was a school bus driver in Lincoln, ME. He loved the kids and was fondly known to the them as "Mr. Ed." Mr. Gray enjoyed fishing and was a former secretary of the Lions Club in Lincoln, Maine. Family members include; his wife of 24 years, Janet (Lundin) Gray; a daughter, Melinda and her husband, Stephen Walsh of Derry; one step son, Kevin Noris and his wife, Heather of Saco, Maine; five grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Elly Monson of MA; and a half-sister, Hazel Mason and her husband, Johnny of Lincoln, ME. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
