Edward H. Ricker

Edward H. Ricker, 88, died August 26, 2023, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH. He was born in Manchester July 21, 1935.

Ed graduated from Manchester High School in 1953 and attended St. Anselm College. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He was the husband of Denise Ricker whom he married in August of 1993 in Manchester.

Most recently, Ed served as a Crossing Guard with the Manchester School District for Northwest Elementary School. He previously held employment as a Warehouse Manager at Heritage Plumbing and Heating and a Money Room Manager at Suffolk Downs Race Track.

Ed especially enjoyed his time as a crossing guard, gardening, and cooking. His famous spaghetti sauce was always the hit of the party with homegrown tomatoes. Ed never turned down an opportunity to spend time with family by the lake barbecuing and playing horseshoes, and he enjoyed many vacation cruises with his wife Denise. More recently Ed passed his time watching Westerns and FOX news. 

Ed is survived by his wife Denise Ricker; his children, Jennifer Bournival, Craig Ricker, and Jeffrey Ricker; and his grandchildren Rebecca Shaw, Emalee Klebbe, Benjamin Ricker, Steven Ricker, and Lilianna Ricker. He was predeceased by his son, Edward Ricker Jr.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, August 31^st, 1:00-3:00pm at the Cremation Society of NH. 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
