Edward K.
Brown
July 29, 1953 – June 1, 2026
Edward K. Brown, 72, of Townshend, Vermont, passed away peacefully at his home on June 1, 2026.
Born on July 29, 1953, in Brattleboro, Vermont, Ed was the beloved son of Clarence and Emma Brown. He graduated from Leland & Gray Seminary in 1971 and began his working career alongside his father doing excavation and construction. Ed then moved on to Maple Valley Ski Area, before joining Cobb Lumber Mill. He tried his hand at logging for a couple years, then later pursued a career in welding before eventually finding his long-term home with United Parcel Service where he worked as a dedicated delivery driver for 30 years before retiring.
Ed had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in life's simple adventures. Whether he was hunting, riding four-wheelers, cruising on his motorcycle, snowmobiling, camping, or exploring the trails in his side-by-side, he was happiest surrounded by nature. Above all, Ed treasured the time he spent with his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Ed was predeceased by his sister, Sheila Brown; and his brothers, Clarence Brown Jr. and Steven Brown.
He is survived by his children, Autumm Brown-Ulm of Sebring Florida and Jason Brown of Newport Rhode Island; Son in Law, Aaron Lundquist; Daughter in Law, Elizabeth Parvo Brown; his grandchildren, Austin Ulm, Alexandra and Emma Brown; his siblings, Priscilla Fitzpatrick, Audrey Beaudoin and Doug Brown; and his longtime companion, Michelle Wilkins. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
