Edward V. Karg, of Nashua, died peacefully, Sunday, August 17th, with his family present, at the Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Karg was born June 1st, 1920, the son of Jacob P. Karg and MaryAnne (Bates) Karg in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Mr. Karg retired from the United States Navy in 1960, after 20 years of service, and from Raytheon Service Co. in 1979. He is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Marie (Apple) Karg; three sons, Alan R. Karg of Warner, NH and his fiancee Cynthia Maynard, Kevin M. Karg of Nashua and his wife Michele, John Steven Karg of Manchester and his wife Lise; four daughters, Dena LeBaron of Merrimack and her husband Thomas, Donna Bragdon of Lynn, Mass. and her fiance Stanley Lozinski, Janice Karg of Nashua, and Katy Krammes of Manchester and her husband David. Mr. Karg is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacob and Megan Karg of Boston, Mass., Amanda LeBaron of Lewiston, Me., Joseph LeBaron of Merrimack, Sean and Patrick Bragdon of Lynn, Mass., Sarah Karg of New York City, Heidi Karg of Nashua, Linden and Timothy Karg of Manchester, Jay and Jenna Karg of Manchester, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church, 62 Manchester St., in Nashua. Internment will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Karg's memory, can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital, 72 Kinsley St., Nashua NH 03060.
