Edward Peltz, 88, of 2 O'Connor Heights, North Andover, MA died on May 5, 2001 at Lawrence General Hospital. Mr. Peltz was born on June 14, 1912 in New York City the son of the late Isaac and Sarah (Berman) Peltz. He was an insurance Agent for Mutual of Omaha in Manchester, NH for 25 years. He was a World War II Army Veteran. His duty included a tour of France where he met and married Janine (Coulon) Peltz. They had two children in France before returning to the United States. He had recently lived a quiet life and mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. Family members include; his wife of 55 years; two sons, Michel Peltz of Wilmot, NH and Claude Peltz of Windham, NH; two daughters, Nicole Peltz of Portland, Oregon and Lilian Peltz-Petow of Boca Raton, Florida; five grandchildren; one brother, Nathan Peltz of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the home of his son, Claude Peltz, 70 Blossom Road, Windham, NH. The family will be receiving friends until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations for the World War II Memorial Fund may be sent to 70 Blossom Road, Windham, NH 03087.
