Edward M. Roig, 61, of 26 Myrtle Street, Nashua, NH died on September 26, 2000 at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Roig was born on February 6, 1939 in Yauco, Puerto Rico the son of the late Manuel and Balbina (Santiago) Roig. He was a housekeeper for Woodhall Hospital in Brooklyn, NY for many years and was also a member of the National Guard. Mr. Roig loved to Merengue Dance to the music of Elvis Crespo. Family members include; two sons, Michael Roig and Steven Roig, both of New York; one daughter, Melanie Roig of NY; one stepson, David Rodrigues of Nashua; three stepdaughters, Rosa Alicea, Doris Duclos and Migdalia Norcross all of Nashua; 14 grandchildren, five brothers, Frankie Roig, William Roig, Charlie Roig, Danny Roig and Junior Roig, all of California; three sisters, Sonia McBride and Cindy Roig, both of New York and Nilsa Roig of CA; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
