Edward F. Ruggeri, Sr., 62, of Enfield Center died peacefully at his home on December 29, 2005 with his wife by his side. Born on August 10, 1943 in Malden, MA he was the son of the late Frank and Katherine (Eldridge) Ruggeri. In his earlier years, Edward owned and operated an auto body repair business, in Kingston, where he was known for his total restoration of vehicles. He had been working at Dartmouth College for the past 18 years until he became ill. He loved to pan for gold in the streams of New Hampshire, Vermont and Canada. He and his wife Betty would cover many miles looking for the perfect spot to pan. He was a life long member of the Gold Miners Club of America. Ed and his wife Betty built their own home in Enfield Center. Ed was a gentle and honest man and enjoyed spending time with family. He truly loved his wife Betty and their dog, Timothy. Ed's devoted wife, Betty made sure Ed's wishes were honored with being able to remain home for the past 14 years where he could die peacefully. Betty has dedicated the past 14 years caring for her husband and honoring his wishes. Family members include; his devoted wife of 34 years, Betty (Brigham) Ruggeri; five sons; and one granddaughter, Montana-Lee Woodsum.
