Edward C. Zapora

Edward C. Zapora, 88, of Meredith died April 16, 2004 at Golden View Health Care Center. Mr. Zapora was born on December 26, 1915 in Manchester, NH the son of the late Frank and Honorata (Bara) Zapora. He was a truck driver for Manchester Sand & Gravel for 40 years and also spent 40 years plowing snow for the State of New Hampshire. He retired in 1978 and spent his winters in Fort Meyers, Florida with his wife, Jennie. He was predeceased by his wife, Jennie (Legenc) Zapora who died January 16, 2003. Family members include; one son, Richard Zapora of Hooksett; one daughter, Patricia Thomas of Fairfield, VT; one stepson, Thomas Klapsa of Florida; three stepdaughter, Joan Bourgeois of Manchester; Diana Goode of Meredith and Cynthia Jasinski of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Theodore Zapora and Robert Zapora both of Hooksett; one sister, Mary Seavey of Hooksett; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Goffstown. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
