Eileen Helen Austin

Eileen H. Austin, 73, died peacefully August 6, 2023 in Nashua, NH after a period of declining health.  Born August 20, 1949 in Fitchburg, MA to Leo and Eva (Hamilton) Austin, she was the youngest of their 8 children.  Eileen’s childhood was spent in Brookline, NH and Escondido, CA.  Through her life she also lived in Milford, NH, Casselberry, FL, and more recently resided in Nashua, NH.  She enjoyed cooking big meals for her family and loved her many pets.  She was fond of her camp in Jefferson, NH and time at The Villages, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Jim, Dick, John, Leo, and Dorothy.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Chris Thompson of Milford, NH and her granddaughters, Taylor and Julia Thompson both of Milford, NH, her sister Shirley Johnson and her husband Zeke of Nashua, NH and brother Frank Austin of Bennington, NH, her niece, Leecy Jeffreys of Milford, NH and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.  She also is survived by her 16-year companion, Mr. Bee Bee the cat.

SERVICES: A gathering to share memories of Eileen will be held on Friday August 18^th, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH, with time for sharing starting at 6pm.
