Elaine V. Adamonis

Elaine V. Adamonis, 90, passed away Sunday night, February 4, 2023 at the Bedford Hills Center in Bedford, NH. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Adamonis.

A longtime Nashua resident, she was born in Hudson, NH on April 26, 1933 the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Josephine L. (Hanson) Morin. She attended and graduated from the Hudson School System.

Elaine was Chairman of the Women of the Moose. The Moose is about celebrating life together and serving those in need by dedicating countless volunteer hours each year to over 1,400 Chapters across the U.S. and Canada as well as their own communities. She started a new career in 1970 working at Teledyne Electronic Technologies. She retired after 25 years of employment at the age of 62. For fun, she loved the beach, playing cards (Skat), listening to Country Music, making people laugh, and spending time with family and friends. A source of inspiration and an embodiment of unwavering resilience, Elaine was strong willed, stubborn, and had a great sense of humor. She touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she encountered.

Elaine is predeceased by her son Allan Kelley; three brothers, Norris J. Morin, Harold L. Morin, and Francis Morin; and four sisters, Rosamond Cuscia, Gloria Cote, Priscilla Palmer, and Nancy Morin.

She is survived by her children, son Keith Kelley and his wife Nanci of Ventura CA, daughter Debra Kelley of Ventura CA, daughter Valerie O’Brien and partner Max Coburn of Merrimack NH, daughter Janice Adamonis and partner Jim Bishop of Brookline NH, and daughter Lisa Adamonis of SC; grandchildren, Kelly Blythe, Angela Messier, Kyle O’Brien, and Mark O’Brien; great grandchildren, Morgan Di-Mare Messier, Aria O’Brien, and Paisley O’Brien; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES:  No formal services will be held at this time however we welcome family and friends to join us in the Spring to honor and celebrate the life of Elaine. A graveside ceremony will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson NH.
