Elaine Hutchinson

Elaine “Hutch” Hutchinson, 74, of Durham died March 3, 2004 at Exeter Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1929 in Peterborough, NH. She was a 50 years resident of Durham and a fixture at the Town & Campus for 20 plus years. Hutch spent countless hours in support of the police and fire department programs. Family members include; one son, Peter Lauren Rajaniemi and his wife Robin of Carrollton, TX; one daughter, Rebecca Rajaniemi Bacon and her husband, Bruce of Rochester and Palm Beach Gardens, FL; grandchildren; and special friends, Wendy Moloney, Mildy Shields, Verna Lawson and a host of other Durham townspeople. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 8th at 1:00 PM at the Durham Community Church on Main Street in Durham. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent the Durham Police or Fire Department.
