Elaine C. (Vaillancourt) Rigsby, a resident of Hooksett, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 80 years old.
Born in Lowell, MA, the daughter of the late Gerry and Helen Vaillancourt, she is a graduate of Chelmsford High School.
On April 19th 1957 she married the love of her life, Roy T. Rigsby. Together they raised four children in Westford, MA. Elaine loved ceramics, playing cards, watching movies, cooking, and a good party or BBQ with family and friends…….and she loved Elvis. She spent many summers at Hampton Beach or on Cape Cod. Elaine treasured the time that she spent with family. She had canine companions a good part of her life and was especially fond of Pepper – a lab that never left her side.
She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband Roy; four children: Michael, Cindy and her husband Mike, Kevin and his wife Rose, and her favorite child, Timmy; grandkids April, Mellisa, Billy, Taylor, Michael, Camden and Kevin II; one great-granddaughter Maddie who comforted and entertained her Nina in so many ways even in the hospital; her sister Marilyn Lamoureux and her husband Roger; many nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be private, Memorial donations in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America online at www.alzfdn.org.
