Elden M. Downes Jr.

Elden Merton Downes Jr. passed away Friday August 20th, 2021 at Franklin Regional Hospital. He was 61 years old. Elden was born on November 20th, 1959 in Nashua New Hampshire, the son of Elden Downes Sr. and Jennie Drury.

Some activities Elden enjoyed most were traveling, fishing, playing a good card game and cooking a nice meal for close family and friends. Elden's loved ones would describe him as a jokester, someone who loved a good laugh.

He is survived by his sons; Elden Colter Downes of California, and Jason Getter of Arizona, his sister Shiela Houle of Danbury, New Hampshire and Brother David Downes of Alexandria, New Hampshire. He is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends. Elden was predeceased by his brothers Peter Fleury, William Fleury and Richard Downes, as well as his sister Sally Inkel.

There are no formal services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
