Elinor F. Wilson

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elinor Frances Wilson, on October 9, 2024. Born on November 11, 1941, Elinor lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and faith. She carried many names throughout her life—Elinor Frances Coughlin, Elinor Frances Jancsy, and Elinor Frances Wilson—but most importantly, she was “Mom” to us, our rock, our shoulder to lean on, and our hero.

Elinor was a woman of many roles: a loving granddaughter, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, grandmother, friend, and teacher. She guided us with gentle strength and unwavering love, teaching us to be kind, patient, and forgiving. She showed us what it meant to laugh with others and at ourselves, to work hard and stay humble, and to trust in the Lord. We will always be grateful for the lessons she taught us, the love she gave us, and the memories we shared.

Mom’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved attending daily church services, and when she could no longer go, she faithfully watched them on TV. Her relationship with God and her belief in eternal peace were guiding lights throughout her journey. Thank you, God, thank you, Jesus, and Holy Mother, for the time we had with her. We hold onto the hope of meeting again in heaven. Rest in peace, Mama—live in eternal peace as the angel you have always been.

Elinor is now reunited in heaven with her late son, Michael Jancsy, and her beloved husband, Raymond Wilson. May they rest in peace, and may God bless them both.

She leaves behind a family who will love and cherish her always: her daughter, Carolyn Moulton, and her children, Tanya Valentine and her husband Chris, and their children, Lucia, Rooco, and Serena, as well as her sons, George Moulton, and Harry Moulton, his wife Kellie, and their son, Malcolm. Her eldest son, Edward Jancsy, and wife Julie. Her son, Kevin Jancsy, and wife Michaela, and their two children, Jacob and Maureen Jancsy. Her son, Brian Jancsy, and wife Josephine, and their three children, Brian Jr., Annette, and Kurt. Her daughter, Maryellen Nichols, and husband Keith Nichols, and their son, Christopher. Her son, Daniel Jancsy, and wife Patricia, and their two daughters, Amy and Hilary. Her daughter, Linda Jancsy, and granddaughter, Larissa Hunt, with her husband, Dan Hunt, and James Gigliotti, as well as her cherished Apollo and Luna. Her son, Keith Jancsy, and wife Kim.

Mom had many loves in life—flowers, houseplants, scenic drives, family gatherings, cooking, and singing. She adored her spaghetti and meatballs, playing Scrabble, watching PBS, and piecing together puzzles. She found joy in simple pleasures like family photos and conversations with her children. She loved the colors purple, yellow, and orange and carried her beautiful, selfless spirit in everything she did. Her favorite seasons were autumn and spring, times of year that reflected her love for nature’s beauty and renewal.

Elinor will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to her family, and the unconditional love she gave to all. She has left us with a legacy of kindness, compassion, and strength, and we will carry her spirit with us always.

Mom was always happiest when surrounded by family, and she had a beautiful habit of saying, "I love you. I love you. I love you," with a loving smile, always offering warm hugs. Her love and warmth will forever remain in our hearts.
