Elizabeth T. Bailey

Elizabeth T. Bailey, 88, of Peterborough died on August 15, 2002 at Pheasantwood Health Care after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bailey was born on June 6, 1914 in Methuen, MA the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Harriman) Thomas, Sr. She was the widow of Elwin Bailey who died in 1969. In her earlier years she was a bus driver for the local Greenfield schools and later retired from Burbak Corp. in Wilton. She was a member of the VFW Woman's Auxiliary, Antrim Garden Club and the Antrim Woman's Club. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved spending time with her family. Family members include; two sons, William R. Bailey of Antrim and Elwin Bailey of Titusville, Florida; one grandson, Michael; a great grandson, Trevor; a sister, Roberta Window of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at Greenvale Cemetery in Greenfield at a later date.
