Elizabeth Wallace Farrel, 74, died peacefully while surrounded by her family on April 7, 2023, in Newmarket, New Hampshire. She was born on August 12, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut,  the daughter of Robert B. Farrel and Catherine (Wallace) Farrel.

She attended the University of Maryland and studied Art, which was her lifelong passion. She was also a musician who enjoyed singing in church choirs and with choral groups over the years. Additionally, she was a poet, photographer, and author. Nature and wildlife were central in her life, and she loved gardening and butterflies, as well as bird watching. Elizabeth taught us to always look for peace in the simple beauty all around us.

Over the years, she lived in Maryland, southern New Hampshire, western Virginia, and the Gulf Coast of Florida. She was grateful for God and she attended the First Baptist Church of Plaistow, New Hampshire for many years, as well as others over the course of her lifetime.

She is survived by her two daughters: Bonnie Roberts, of Newmarket, New Hampshire, and Jennifer Roberts, of Sandown, New Hampshire. She was grandmother to five grandchildren: Justin Bacon, Hannah Whalen, Brooke Bacon, Julia Reynolds and Kaitlyn Reynolds and she was a great grandmother to Casey Whalen. She is also survived by two siblings: Stuart Farrel of Salem, New Hampshire and Deborah Farrel, of Sun City Center, Florida.

ARRANGEMENTS: No formal services will be held. The family will celebrate her life with a private memorial gathering. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, Hampton.

Those who wish to make a memorial contribution may do so to the Alzheimer's Association, ASPCA,World Wildlife Fund or the Nature Conservancy.
