Elizabeth A Grosspeter

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Liz” Grosspeter at the age 84 on February 18, 2025. 

Elizabeth was Born on February 17, 1941, to Elliot and Florence (Osborne) Barber in Staten Island, NY. She graduated from Curtis High School in 1959. Elizabeth worked in the banking industry in her early years and retail later in life until retirement. 

Elizabeth will be joining her parents and daughter Virginia Piekarski (2008) in heaven. 

She is survived by her son James Barber and his wife Carrie, grandsons Christopher and Micheal Piekarski and son in law John Piekarski. Liz also leaves behind step grandchildren. 

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, 354 Main Street, Hopkinton, NH 03229 or VNA of Manchester and Southern NH, 1070 Holt Ave, Suite 1400 Manchester NH 03109.
