Elizabeth Ann (née Batliner) Kelley, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 21st at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, New Hampshire.
She was born on November 24th, 1942 in Hammond, IN to Egon and Josephine (Hemmerle) and was the eighth of ten children. Elizabeth graduated from Hammond High School. She moved to the East coast early in her married life.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vincent Kelley; son, George; and three brothers, John Batliner, Frank Batliner and Richard Batliner.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Kelley; grandchildren, Lyssa Jackson and Triston Lapanne; and great grandson, Kyle Lapanne – who affectionately referred to her as GG. She is also survived by sisters, Hedy Paulik, Theresa Batliner, MaryJo (Lou) Harding, Irma (Dale Christenson), Rosa Mazzocco; brother, Emil (Virgie) Batliner; and sister-in-law Donna Batliner. She had many nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth enjoyed her family. She also enjoyed fast food, scratch offs, and watching TV. In her last month, she had the good fortune of Hospice care and regular visits with a Hospice chaplain. Elizabeth's thoughtfulness and fun, loving ways will be missed. She always had a smile or a laugh.
No public services will be held. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Hampton.
