It is with profound sadness that we announce the last “double time” dance of Elizabeth Shreve Wood Mosher who passed at age 82 on May 15, 2026, in Peterborough, NH. Elizabeth was born in Boston on September 6, 1943, to Richard and Elizabeth Shreve. She loved meeting new people. Elizabeth will be remembered for her fun-loving approach to life, and her talent for making those around her feel important.

She graduated from House in the Pines, in Norton, MA, and from Garland Jr. College. She worked for Brooks Brothers in Boston and enjoyed transforming people with clothing to look “divine”. In retirement, she owned her own business with her husband travelling all over the East Coast buying and selling antique and reproduction furniture at open air markets. She loved her two dogs Winston and Tori and walked them every day around the lake near her home in Antrim, NH. Her true retirement passion was to restore furniture with folk art Toll painting. She had great expertise in painting flowers in this method. She loved spending time with her sister Katharine, her two daughters and her four granddaughters. With her granddaughters, Mimmi loved to do arts and crafts and walk to pick wild blueberries. She adored dancing, good music and was never afraid to pull someone shy onto a dance floor. A steadfast Boston Red Sox fan, she cheered them on at Fenway and at Spring Training.

She will be remembered most importantly as loyal, sensitive, and caring to all people. She encouraged her daughters and granddaughters to take risks by saying “just smile” and to “go for it!”

Elizabeth is survived by her husband Richard, her sisters Sally Cutler and Katharine Frazer, her daughter Katharine Fricke, her husband Matthew and daughters Lydia and Caroline, her daughter Marjorie Barndt, her husband Peter and daughters Natalie and Lucy.

Private services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Monadnock Humane Society. https://monadnockhumanesociety.org/donate/
