Elizabeth (Haskins) Wallace passed away May 12, 2020 at the Genesis Healthcare facility in Lebanon, NH She was born February 8, 1938 to Eli Sam Haskins and Arabelle (Burns) Haskins.
She was raised in Canaan, NH and graduated from Canaan High School. In the fall of 1956, she started attending the Mary Hitchcock nursing school in Hanover, NH and eventually graduated with a Nursing degree.
On May 21, 1960, she married John Eric Wallace, who had been her pen pal from Scotland since 1955 (he was in the British Mercantile) and they made their home in Canaan, NH where they raised their four children.
She enjoyed nature and wild life, gardening and reading. She was a member of the Canaan Assembly of God Church.
She is predeceased by her younger brother, Michael W. Haskins. She is survived by her brother, James E. P. Haskins of CA, her husband of 59 years, John E. Wallace, her children: Melanie Wallace and husband Shannon Carreau of Manchester, NH; James Wallace of Canaan, NH; Mark Wallace of Grafton, NH; and Victoria Marlar of Canaan NH; her grandchildren James, Alexander, Jessica and Thomas, and numerous cousins.
