Ellen Dickie McPhetres

Ellen Dickie McPhetres, born on July 1, 1956, in Peterborough, NH, passed away on March 16, 2024. Ellen dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Pathways of the River Valley. Her compassion and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on all those she cared for.

Known for her kind and generous spirit, Ellen was a cherished friend to many. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life - spending time at Hampton Beach and sharing her deep love of the ocean with her beloved daughter, Laura. Ellen's eyes would light up with delight at the thought of sipping a good margarita while surrounded by her treasured cats, Angel, Jasper, and Charlotte Ann.

Ellen leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving daughter Laura Suits and husband Adam, as well as Peter Annis (nephew), Bob Annis (nephew) and wife Pam, Bobby Annis (great nephew)  and wife Rachel, and Nikki Gabrault (great niece).

In this time of grief, let us remember Ellen for the light she brought into the lives of those around her. A Funeral Service will be held on May 4, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Newport, NH, followed by a Celebration of Life event to honor Ellen's memory.

Ellen Dickie McPhetres will forever be remembered for her kindness, friendship, and gentle spirit that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
