Born in Wolfeboro, NH on 11-05-56 Departed on 05-15-03 and resided in Ossipee, NH Ellis M Dow III, 46, of Ossipee died on May 15th, 2003 at Huggins Hospital after a difficult 18 month battle with cancer. Ellis was born on November 5th, 1956 in Wolfeboro, NH the son of E Milton Dow and late Janet Dow. Ellis had three loves in his life. The first was his family which he enjoyed 365 days a year. Mini golfing and racing were a couple of things he especially enjoyed taking his family to do. The second was snowmobiling which was limited to December through March. He was active in two snowmobile clubs. The third and last is racing. If he wasn't watching the Winston Cup Circuit, he was watching his nephews Clay and Chad compete. He leaves behind a wife of 13 years Carol S Dow, a son Mathew Dow, a daughter Marena Dow, a father E Milton Dow and his predeceased mom Janet Dow, a sister Karen Dow-Butler and her husband John, a brother Curt Dow, Debbie and their children Chad and Clay, a sister-in-law Lise Valley, her husband Jerry, and their children Josh and Kayla, a brother-in-law Mario Lessard, his wife Kathy, and their children Misty and Michael. Grave Site service at Chickville Church Cemetery in Ossipee on Chickville Road on May 25th, 2003 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Wolfeboro Snowmobile Club, PO Box 268, Wolfeboro Falls, NH 03896, or Ossipee Snowmobile Club, PO Box 261, West Ossipee, NH 03890, or The Victory Junction Gang Camp, 311 Branson Mill Road, Randleman, NC 27317.
