Ellison Darling Clark

Ellison D. Clark, 86, of New Port Richey, Florida died on January 14, 2001 at Lakes Regional General Hospital in Laconia after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Clark was born on December 24, 1914 in New Bedford, MA the daughter of the late Harry and Eunice (Hanscomb) Briggs. She graduated from Central High in 1934 and worked as a beautician in Manchester. She married Howard Clark in 1938 and they moved to West Newbury, MA where she worked for a nursing home for many years. She later was an assembler in Western Electric in North Andover, MA for ten years. After retirement they moved to Florida. Family members include; her husband of 62 years, Howard Clark; one son, Howard Clark Jr. of Lewisberry, PA; one daughter, Margaret Fry of Laconia; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is schedules for Saturday, January 20th at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 54 Fairmont Street, Lakeport, NH at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name for research to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301.
