Emily Anne Rich

Emily A. Rich, 84, of Gilford died of natural causes on June 5, 2003 at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Rich was born on October 6, 1918 in Lynn, MA the daughter of the late William and Mary (Kairevicz) Karpitch. She was employed at Sylvania in Lynn, MA for over ten years. After rasing her family she returned to work and was employed at Ann & Hope in Danvers until she retired. In her spare time, Emily enjoyed knitting and sewing. She is the widow of Francis R. Rich who died in April 1998. Family members include; one daughter, Kristine McLavey of Merrimack; and three granddaughters, Lauren Rich of Danvers and Jessica and Jacqueline McLavey of Merrimack. Mrs. Rich was predeceased by her son, Steven Rich. Services will take place at a later date.
