Erlaine W. Willis

Erlaine Williams Willis, 80, passed away on February 16, 2023 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH. Erlaine was born in Savannah, GA to the late James and Anna Marie Williams in 1942. Predeceased by her brother James Williams, Jr., she is survived by her beloved sisters Carolyn Harper, Beverly Fountain, Sandra Mccumbers, and her daughter Kimberly(Steve) Willis Nadeau and son Craig (Melissa) Willis, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.    

Erlaine was a graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy in Savannah, GA. She raised her family in Jacksonville, FL where she worked for San Jose Catholic Church Rectory for 17 years. She enjoyed a second career as a realtor in Jacksonville and in Hoffman Estates, IL. She spent her final decades in Durham/Dover, New Hampshire cheering at her grandchildren’s sporting events, nurturing children (esp. Rachel & Will), going on driving adventures, being an epic card player and an avid Bingo enthusiast. She was a loyal friend and to love her and be loved by her was a blessing.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Savannah, GA at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your local hospice facility.
