Erlon Leon Elliott, born February 1, 1941, died early Wednesday morning at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage early Monday morning.
He was the son of Elmer and Violet (Devoll) Elliott, of East Rochester. He was the eleventh of thirteen children, and his older sister Edith Mongeon is the only one remaining. He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Michael Elliott and Mark Rabidas; three daughters, Rachel Graham, Jeanne and Jennifer Poussard and her husband Albert Poussard of Milton, along with numerous grandchildren.
He attended Spaulding High School in Rochester where he played JV football. He was a volunteer for many years at the Rochester Fire Department, and volunteered for the NH Fish and Game Department.
Toward the end of his life, he became an avid flower gardener. He also loved to fish and hunt. He didn't want any funeral or memorial services.
He will be interred at the New Cold Springs Cemetery in East Rochester.
