Ernest Timothy "Tim" Madore, Sr., 62, died peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2009 at his home in Moultonboro, NH surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Madore was born on November 7, 1946 in Portland, ME. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joya Ouellette; father, Rodrick Madore and stepfather, Raymond Ouellette. Mr. Madore lived in the Lakes Region for over 40 years after being honorably discharged from the United States Navy. While assigned to the naval ships the Wexford County and the Summit County during the Vietnam War, he was trained in the culinary arts. Mr. Madore was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Bronze Star. Mr. Madore also served 6 years in the Navy reserves. After traveling around the world during his Navy career he visited New Hampshire where he met his wife, Constance. Over the years Mr. Madore used his culinary expertise while managing many restaurants throughout the area. During the early 1990's Mr. and Mrs. Madore established Madore Vac & Sew in Meredith. For the past nine years Mr. Madore was employed by the Town of Moultonboro. Mr. Madore, "Dr. Tim" as he was known to many, was a jack of all trades. Using his master machinery training, Dr. Tim could repair most anything that was brought to him. Mr. Madore is survived by his wife, Constance; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer & Bruce Sidelinger of Apopka, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick & Elena Madore of Boca Raton, FL; daughter, Darcie Shedd of Meredith; son, Ernest Timothy Madore, Jr. of Moultonboro; grandchildren, Brett Sidelinger of Apopka, FL; Tyler Miner and Jamie Shedd of Meredith; Patrick Madore of Boca Raton, FL. He is also survived by sisters Michelle Hawkes; Danielle Madore and Candy Madore; brother Rodrick Madore all of NY; brother Raymond Ouellette; sister Colleen; aunt Patricia McGlauflin of ME and FL; many nieces, nephews and cousins. An intimate military service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on Wednesday, January 14 at 2:00 pm.
