Ernest J. Parenteau

Ernest J. Parenteau, Sr., 74, formerly of Epping, died July 11, 2005 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood. He was born in Epping on May 9, 1931, the son of Willie and Blanch (LaRoche) Parenteau. He was a United States Army Veteran. For much of his career, he was a mechanic in the automotive industry. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball. He also loved to hunt and fish. Family members include three sons, Zane Parenteau of Manchester, Ernest “Pudge” Parenteau, Jr of Newmarket and Joshua Parenteau of Nottingham; a daughter, Carrie Parenteau of Raymond; many grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Parenteau, Rene Parenteau, both of Epping, Clement Parenteau of Northwood and Raymond Parenteau of Epping; a sister, Irene Downs of Fremont; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. A graveside committal service with military honors will take place on Thursday at 10:00 in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
