Erwin "Al" Rezendes

Erwin "Al" Rezendes

Erwin Albert Rezendes, age 76, passed away on February 5th, 2022, due to complications arising from Covid-19. Al was born on September 9, 1945 in Mosbach, Germany. Al is survived by his wife, Colleen Rezendes.


Al would step foot on US soil in 1958. He would spend the better part of his
life living around different parts of the country before settling in Colorado in
the early 70’s. Colorado would offer everything he loved to do.


Al loved the outdoors and had many hobbies from golfing and hiking, to fly
fishing. Al will mostly be remembered for his passion for bowling; spending
over 50 years in the industry. Al would go on to bowled on the PBA National
Tour and bowl numerous tournaments. Al was inducted into the Greater
Denver USBC Hall of Fame in 2008. He lived and breathed bowling. Al was
always “tweaking” his game.


Never fully retiring, Al spent the last few years working in the pro-shop for
Yankee Lanes in Manchester NH, where his quick wit and vast knowledge
would soon have customers coming to see him for their bowling needs.
Helping people become better bowlers is what he strive to do. He had a
natural talent and loved teaching.


Predeceased by his brother Ernest, Mother Hilda, adopted Father Ernest &
Biological Father Albert Metzger.


A Celebration of Life will be held on February 20th at 1:00pm. Yankee
Lanes, 216 Maple st, Manchester NH. For those who can not travel, an
additional Celebration will be held in Colorado late summer.
