Eunice Pepoon Hilliard, 71 Brought love and laughter to all she knew Eunice Pepoon Hilliard, 71 of Nottingham, N.H died peacefully in her home on April 29, due to diabetic complications. She was the beloved wife of the late Clinton Hilliard with whom she had shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Eastport, NY, November 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie and Reverend Charles Pepoon. She is survived by two brothers, the Reverend Paul Pepoon and the Reverend Mark Pepoon, a sister, Doris Bischoff and her daughter, Judy Hilliard. Eunice will be remembered by her generous and witty nature and her devotion to God. Throughout her life, she provided for those less fortunate then herself and brought love and laughter to her family, friends and colleagues. Eunice grew up in Long Island, NY and moved to NH after marrying Clint. They lived in Antrim, NH before retiring to Nottingham. Eunice was a long-time employee of AT&T working at a variety of offices throughout NH and MA. Eunice struggled with diabetic complications for over fifteen years first losing her eye sight then her ability to walk and finally succumbing to renal failure. Despite her health challenges, her spirit remained strong and her faith in God was steadfast. She will continue to be a source of inspiration to those who loved her. A memorial service will be held at Eunice’s home on May 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association on-line at www.diabetes.org or by mailing to: American Diabetes Association PO Box 1131 Fairfax, VA 22038-1131 The Cremation Sociey of NH is in charge of arrangments.
