Eva. H. Korek, 89, died Tuesday, October 31, 2000 at Odd Fellows Home after a long period of failing health. She had been a resident at Odd Fellows Home for 2 years and previously resided in Beaver Meadow Village for over 20 years. Mrs. Korek was born in New York City in 1911, the daughter of the late Robert and Adele Chory. She lived for many years in Hillsdale, NJ and later in Ridgewood, NJ and moved to New Hampshire in 1971. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 1973, a stepbrother, August Boesche and a half-brother, Frank Boesche. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Susan ''Suzie'' Fosburgh of Bow; her son, Michael Korek of Goffstown; seven grandchildren, Heidi Rule, Eric and Holly Fosburgh, Sarah, Becky, Samantha and Michael Korek.; her stepsister Mercedes B. Geise of North Cape May, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours and services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Evans Cemetery in Bow. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the NH Odd Fellows Resident Activity Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
