Evelyn Yvonne Biron

Evelyn Yvonne (Auffrey) Biron, 98, left this earth on November 1, 2021. She was a resident at Valley Terrace in White River Junction Vt. Her unwavering faith in God, and the love of her family sustained her through her courageous battle with dementia.

Evie was born on July 15, 1923 to Amos and Gertrude Auffrey in Ludlow MA. She lived in the surrounding area throughout her childhood. She moved to Pittsfield MA. as a young adult and took a job at Eaton Paper and met her future husband Edward Biron. She married her “ honey Biron” on November 29, 1947. They had a wonderful life in Pittsfield for over 50 years. They moved to West Lebanon NH twenty years ago to be near their daughter.

Evie was a devoted Catholic and her spirituality was an integral part of her life. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and sister. She was a loyal friend and to know her was to love her.

She lost Ed on October 31, 2009. She leaves behind a daughter Michele and her husband Dana Nichols of Enfield Center, NH.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Larry, Leo, Leonard, and Henri and three sisters, Eleanor, Rita, and recently Irene. She is survived by a sister Jean Bruni of Springhill FL and Clarence Auffrey of Ludlow MA. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A private service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Make a Wish of NH.
