Evelyn Lorraine Parent (Beaulieu), 90 years old, of Manchester, NH passed peacefully on August 21, 2023 in her home of 50 years with her loving family by her side. Evelyn was born August 26, 1932 in East Millinocket, Maine to Leon Beaulieu and Lillian Beaulieu (Michaud).
Evelyn moved from Maine to Manchester, NH with parents and siblings in the 1950’s where she met the love of her life, Alfred Parent. They were blessed with two daughters and a loving marriage for 71 years. She worked at Chicopee Mills in Manchester for many years before opening her own daycare that she ran for 20 years. She was such a sweet, nurturing woman who enjoyed caring for children. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening and she enjoyed walks to look at nature and birds. On those walks she would sometimes find cat friends in need of a loving home. Over the years she had 10 loving cats that gave her as much love as she gave to them.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Alfred and her siblings, Alfred Beaulieu, and Clarise Lescarte.
She is survived by two siblings, Donna Desrosiers of Manchester and Regis Beaulieu of Auburn, California; her brother Alfred’s wife Keyon Beaulieu of Maine; two daughters, Evelyn Gamelin and Steve of Concord and Brenda Hamel and Gordy of Hooksett; four grandchildren, Aaron Vigneault and wife Teri, Stacy Mullen and husband Erik, Sharon Figueroa and husband Ben, and Jennifer Poulin and husband Michael; many great grandchildren, David Gabriel, Quintin Mullen and Charlotte Mullen, Jeremy Gooden, Ivy Gooden, Teddy Poulin, Lily Poulin, Noah Ruff, and Gavin Figueroa; her great, great grandchildren, AJ, Vivienne, David-Lincoln and Abby; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
