Evelyn Pellow, 93, a resident of Amesbury, MA died on October 17, 2020 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Providence, RI on September 24, 1927, the daughter of Raymond Benjamin Allen and Alma Allen (Knee Doyle). She made her home in Amesbury for the past 10 years and formerly lived in Nashua, NH for 40 years.
She was a former employee in the Nashua NH School System, an avid skier during the winter and loved the beach sun. She spent the most important part of her life raising and taking care of her family. Evelyn was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua and was active in the church's CCD program.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend as well as a devoted grandmother to the end.
She was predeceased by her husband, William T Pellow, who died in 2005 as well as a son, Steven W. Pellow, who died in 2012.
Family members include a daughter, Kimberly DiPietro and her husband Joe, as well as a son, William A. Pellow, five grandchildren, Charles Colfer, Emma DiPietro, Madelyn DiPietro, Joshua Pellow, Kimberly McGarrity and a daughter in-law, Yvonne Pellow.
At the request of the family, all arrangements are for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
